Botanical garden:
In 1960 was opened to the public the Funchal’s botanical garden. It contains a very rich collection of plants and trees and some wonderful extensive views over Funchal Island. Take with you the famous local Bolo de Mel fruit cake as well as your unwritten postcards!
Colombo's statue
At Santa Catarina Park someone is able to check the famous Colombo’s statue. Sugar and wines commerce made Funchal a very popular destination the last decades.
